Description
L curl lash extensions – lift for straight lashes
The L curl has a straight base followed by a sharp upward lift towards the tip. This shape makes it the right choice for clients with straight, downward-pointing or hard-to-lift natural lashes, as well as for hooded eyes and monolids, where a classic curl would disappear under the lid.
When to choose the L curl
- straight or downward-growing natural lashes;
- hooded eyelids, where the extension needs to show above the lid;
- a lifted, eye-opening effect.
Thicknesses and lengths
- 0.07 mm – the most popular thickness for volume (3D–6D fans), light and comfortable;
- 0.10 mm – for classic (1:1) sets and light 2D–3D volume;
- lengths: 5–16 mm, plus MIX trays (4–7, 6–13, 13–18 mm) for a full lash map from a single tray;
- trays with 16 rows.
Tip for lash artists
L and M curls have a smaller contact area with the natural lash than C or CC curls. Match the curl to the angle of the natural lash for the best retention.
Why Expert Lash
Expert Lash by Bianca Balint extensions are used in the Expert Lash Academy courses and by lash artists working in salons every day.
For an even more dramatic look, choose the M curl; for lashes with a slight natural curve, the CC curl.
